Oíche Scannáin/Film Night: 'KNEECAP'

In partnership with Glasgow St Patrick's Festival & Grace's Irish Centre:

Conradh na Gaeilge Glaschú are delighted to be hosting a screening of the acclaimed, multi-award-winning film:
KNEECAP

When fate brings Belfast teacher JJ into the orbit of self-confessed ‘low-life scum’ Naoise & Liam Óg, the needle drops on a hip hop act like no other. Rapping in their native Irish, they become unlikely figureheads in leading a movement to save their mother tongue.

Nuair a fhágann an chinniúint go gcastar JJ, múinteoir i mBéalFeirste, le Naoise & Liam Óg, beirt a thugann ‘cacamas an tsaoil’orthu féin, saolaítear grúpa hip hap nach bhfacthas a leithéidriamh roimhe. Agus iad ag rapáil leo ina dteanga dhúchais féin–an Ghaeilge–tá siad anois, más iontach féin é, ar thúscadhnaíochta sa ghluaiseacht leis an teanga a shábháil.
